Good value hotel, had a very enjoyable stay for an overnight business trip. The restaurant was good for evening meals, I tried delicious dishes. It was neat, and the bed was very clean. You could leave a car on site.

The position is good for visiting the Beacons and the valleys. Bed comfortable. Clean and new. Good shower. Friendly staff. Early check-in/late check-out. Wi-fi.
Local situation and outlook is unattractive. Food is cheap (pub prices) but dull.

The room was clean and equipped with a comfortable double bed and tv. The dining experience at the carvery was really good, with meats and quick service. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with a good selection.
The location could be considered a bit isolated.

The helpfulness of the staff at reception and in the restaurant, and the size of the room was slightly above what I was thinking to expect when I first arrived.
I didn't like at all was that the bed was not properly cleaned as I'm quite a cleanliness freak. When it comes to hotel rooms, I think the very basic is to have a bed with changed linen and not see hairs under the cover sheet. The other thing was that they served dinner until 9PM only and also breakfast until 9.30AM (also on Sundays) as well. Location is not great neither but I can only suppose there are not much amenities neither is small villages in Wales so this can be overlooked.

Enjoyed a clean, comfy room with a powerful shower. The location was perfect for exploring the area. It had ample parking and allowed us to safely keep our bikes inside! The carvery dinner was also a highlight. A proper, hearty meal that really hit the spot after a long day.

The room was very nice and comfortable. I loved the spacious layout and the decent bathroom. It felt homey. Having tea-making facilities was a nice touch. The bed was comfy, but the décor was a bit dated. It got a tad warm at night, and the window was hard to open.
